First Industry Innovation Alliance for Future Networks Established in China
Thefirst national industry innovation alliance for future networks was officiallyestablished during the second Future Network Development and Innovation ForumChina in Nanjing on December 20th, 2012. More than 300 representatives from theCAE, MIIT, NDRC, Nanjing Municipal Commission of Economy and InformationTechnology, Nanjing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, internetenterprises, colleges, and research institutes attended this forum.
Thealliance is co-founded by more than 30 famous institutions, including the ChinaCommunications Standards Association, FNIC, China Telecom, China Mobile, ChinaUnicom, SARFT, Datang, ZTE, HUAWEI, Sina, Tencent, Sohu, ChinaCache, ChinaNetCenter,21Vianet, CAS Institute of computing technology, Tsinghua University, BeijingUniversity of Posts and Telecommunications, Nanjing University, and SoutheastUniversity.
Thealliance can integrate industry and social resources to help its membersimprove their abilities on R&D and production, and promote applications onfuture networks in domestic and abroad, which will be very helpful for theindustry development in China.
